Cache Money…

While I have always felt that query caching and query cache managemnt was part of the data tier and belinged in your data engine, its certainly is nice to have this functionality come to ruby regardless of your backend.  Forget about expiring your individual actions.  Forget about the headache of keeping track of all those little things that you would like to have in a look aside buffer.  Can we ask rails to take care of it all for us?  "Yes we can!"

DB2 express with rails

I was unaware that there was a free version of DB2, but apparently IBM has released a free DB2 called DB2-express-c. This version of DB2 lacks some of the enterprise features, but outside of that its the same production DB2 engine that you may have come to know and rely on.
